So harsh...

I was a bit surprised given how active the site has been in recent months...I hope all is well for forgotz.

Perhaps you should consider selling your site, you could make a packet! Wink

I must admit I saw the post and was very surprised, I wouldn't call it a large some of money either.

nothing harsh about it.
i was a bit suprised to remembering the latest spammails they put out not long ago.
nothing indicated that it was going to be sold...
and isnt there a banner running here to ?

thats the negative thing about this...
people make a site , supporters keep a site running.....and its put up for sale just as easy.

but all is very easy to explain i guess.

The ebay sale was closed the same day the news item was posted - no bidding?
I'll be watching with interest to see who the new owner is, especially if there isnt one.
Hope all is well forgotz?

I heard the original asking price was like $2k. I know of a few lesser offers made, but have heard no confirmed deals from a good source.

well seems to me that if you put your website for sale that you also let readers know what the outcome was,..
is it sold...,was it a mistake...something like that..

Just a minor update. It has been said that dada backed out of the sale and decided to keep the site.

No news to wether this was just a publicity stunt.
