Last xx content articles

Hopefully I am posting this in the correct place...if I am not Raven may beat me with a wet noodle or somethin'.....Even more hopefully I will be able to clearly explain what I am looking to do....
I use my content section for several things, but mainly I have it categorized into different "magazines", for example "Legends and Lore", "Poetry and Short Stories" etc...
I'd like to have a block that would draw the last 5 or 10 articles posted to certain categories and show the title of these articles....
Did that make sense?
I'm sure someone here knows how to do this in their sleep, but it ain't me..... Embarassed

Help??

Oh, someone tell me how to do this please?? I found a couple of post similar, but I'm just not getting what I need to do. Someone shove the blind woman in the right direction will ya?

Take a look at blocks/block-Content.php script as it is close. However, since you want to do this based on categories, you'll have to re-code the script a bit.

That's ok Montego, I know how busy you guys are. I've looked at the content block, but I was too 'blond' at the time to understand. I'll give it another shot.
