Text Ads in Email?

Hello everyone, hope i'm putting this in the correct location...

I am running RN 2.02 and just recently installed an adserver on my site to give me the ability to better control banner clients and placement of ads

Part of the adserver (OpenAds) is the ability to have text ads, which got me thinking to offering adspace in all the Topic Reply Notification emails that get sent out...

problem is, I have no idea where or how to enter the javascript so it will get picked up by the emailer.

Anyone have an idea on this?

Well, I am not so sure that javascript will be the best bet. Two reasons: 1) you would need to modify the heck out of the topic reply to send HTML email rather than text and 2) most email clients now are very "sensitive" to allowing active content. Doubtful it would work.

I am thinking you really need to figure out how to generate the text ad text and THEN place it within the topic reply email (i.e., NO javascript required at the email client).

that was my thinking, generate the text ad, then include it in the text of the email (didn't want to send the raw javascript to the clients email)

Is there any easy way to do an include on the emails?
