error entering site and forum Quest

i got two thing for ya
i hope this is the right Forum if not Sry , i`m sure you will move it.

Some (maybe 20) members get sentinel warning (black page with white letering) when they are logged into site and move to new page for instance from home to forum, and one from work got this

i got no clue on this, since i`m experimenting with the code, i took sentinel off my test site(deleted databse entries) , and 1 member can still not get onto that site, he lives in canada, i included his IP to Sentinel> excludes
still no gold fish in a bag.
this worked for other member in romania(hacker central). but hes an Admin so needed to be in the club house so to speak.

you guys got the link for seperating Announ/ Sticky / Topics like on this forum tried like mad but i must really suck at search queries. I know i seen it on here somewhere.

You would need to add his IP to the Protected Range to stop his IP getting blocked. The Excluded Range is only if you don't want to track his IP.

As to the blocked message they are getting, it is hard to say because there is no strings being displayed, so we can't see what string is causing them to get blocked, which is odd. Confused

what i did say to him was that his works Computer`s internet setings (firewall) has been changed,
he`s a Fireman.that could be the couse

strange exclude worked for for geting our Admin on site where before i added him to excludes he had to hide his ip per session to enter site. ..weird.(gota luv romania)

i have been thinking of the idea that because our site has sooo many youtube and google vid links ,including avatars and signatures off-site that is maybe slowing site dow to get the dreaded black screen....mmmm not sure on that till i update to 2.10 and host as many as i can.

Yes offsite links can slow down your page load times, but as far as I know you shouldn't get blocked for that.

ill update to sentinel 2.5 , and add his Protected ranges see if it works for him on my test site.
