Many of my users prefer long names.
Within the block there is a limit to display such long names.
So far so good but I believe something isn´t correct or I don´t understand the logic.
The latest registered username displays 12 letter and behind...
the username contains all in all 13 letter.
Online Now
At the same time is an other user online the name is with an underscore plus 12 letter. The name is full displayed and behind also ...
Why ... ?

Not sure I follow, but it appears that the username is being limited by the value of $nameMaxLength in the block. You can change that and see what that does.

Code:

$nameMaxLength           = 13; //Max length for username display.  Will truncate with ....

How are underscores and other characters within usernames handled ?
There shouldn´t be nothing after the username I mean the member which was Online Now in my example above.

The reason I added that switch was so the user could adjust the length to keep the block width from being stretched.
