Ok, I finally got brave enough to upgrade. Yay! All went well, the only thing that I can't figure out is that in my Blog mod (the one made by CurtisH), the text isn't wrapping anymore. It just stretches and stretches the screen. I'm stumped on what to edit or what to do. |

Which theme are you using where you see this? |

Its a custom theme called Celtic Cross, made for 7.6. I didn't touch the theme folders when I upgraded. The forums themselves are fine (the Blog mod is really an add-on to the forums).
EDIT: OK, weird, but it is actually a browser thang. The text wraps just fine in IE6. I'm using Firefox mainly and that is the one not wrapping the text in this mod.
I wonder if it is purely a Firefox issue. I just installed the newer version of Firefox previous to uploaded RN2.1....
EDIT#2 ok, just tried to change the theme to see if it was the theme, but when I select fisubic (or any other) it doesn't change! |

^bump^ Anyone? I'm still having trouble changing the themes now to test if it is just a theme issue. Sometimes I am able to get it to switch to fisubice, but then after a few clicks it will revert back to my main (custom) theme. ??? |

srhh, have you made any changes to the Your Account module? I just tested theme changing on my local 2.10.00 version and it works just fine. Try clearing all your cookies and temporary internet files, close all browsers, and go back in. You MUST be logged in as a regular user (which I know you know). |

montego, Hmm, I got it to work, but I had to do the opposite. I logged out as a regular user and just kept logged in as godadmin and the themes changed just fine.
I don't remember it doing that before, but no biggie..
And the textwrapping thing isn't a theme specific issue... |

Do you a different theme set in your account for your user? This will override your default theme. |

I thought I turned off the user themes, I'll have to double check. But it works as long as I'm logged out. Anyways, the main issue is still the text wrapping issue in Firefox. I do have CNBYA as my Your Account module (and here I just posted all was well with it on 2.1! Doh! ). I don't see how that would affect text wrapping though..... |

Well, although I have never used CNBYA, I could have sworn that it replaces the Your Account module? I don't see how it could not. So, the theme switch issue is probably there.
However, like you said, this thread is really about "text wrapping" issue.
PHP-Nuke was so riddled with bad HTML that it made it nearly impossible to get compliant code out of it, especially when using the editor or if people were using P tags in their "data". So, we had to fix those. This could have some adverse affect on themes that were coded to "work around" the PHP-Nuke code deficiencies. It was an unfortunate result, but we had to do it.
However, we did not touch phpBB related code, so I, too, am at a bit of a loss here.
I would suggest having someone like jaded or Guardian take a look at your theme to see if they can spot what might be causing this. And you are certain that it worked fine in FF before? (I know, stupid question.) |

Thanks monetgo.
Yeah, it worked fine in FF before. I just checked someone elses website with the blog mod who is still using RN2.0.02 and it shows up fine.
The Blog Mod has its own html templates in both the theme forums and the regular forums. I tried messing around with those, but seeing that the mod is no longer supported (a great casualtiy of bbtonukemods) I think I'll just revert back to boring old Journals. *sighs* At least the FCK editor is with that now! |

Well, definitely up to you, but if you can spare a bit more time, I would check with jaded or Guardian. They have done a lot of work with forum type themes. I have not, which is why I would hate to try and tackle that. |

Here is a zip of the theme (with the blog files and edits installed already, just a straight download from my site) and a zip of the complete Blog Mod files and edits.
