Hello.

I've been doing my best trying to solve out my problems regarding a theme I downloaded from http://www.phpthemes.net It's called XD-Zeda.

The team is designed for php nuke 6.5 and above. It works great on my site except that I am using NSN News 7.9. Im running php nuke 7.9 patched 3.3 by the way.

I tried changing my theme to a php nuke 7.9 designed theme and there was no problem with my dual columned NSN News, all the links are present like Read More, Edit, Comments, etc. But when I changed it to the Zeda themes, these links are not showing up, the worst is that there's no Read More link for the truncated news text making the news inaccessible - that means u cant read the full text of the news.

Please, please, Ive been spending my time trying to work it out but I just cant because I dont have enough knowledge with codes.

I know that RavenphpScripts delivers solutions and good service to the community thats why I decided to post it here, hoping you could help me out with my problems.

Heres a picture of the problem I am talking about:

It is almost impossible for us to replicate your setup here. Most of us would not go NEAR phpnuke 7.9 and don't use NSN news nor the XD-Zeda theme so it's hard to fix this. I did download the theme and take a quick look. There is a variable called $morelink in the function themeindex of the theme.php file. Usually what happens is that the news module passes over whatever text is supposed to be displayed in the $morelink and then the theme itself just displays that text in the appropriate place and with the appropriate formatting.

XD-Zeda is one of those themes that have separate html files. The one of interest to you is story_home.html. If you look in there you will see that $morelink is never referenced, thus it is never displayed. This would hold true regardless of whether you were running standard Nuke news or the NSN news. If you want to fix it you could look at the fisubice theme and see where the $morelink is referenced in its corresponding story_home.html file and try to replicate that in the XD-Zeda story_home.html file. You could also, on a test system, echo out the value of $morelink that's being passed into themeindex, but I doubt that's where your problem is. The $morelink is just plain left out of the XD-Zeda theme as far as I can see.

Contact the theme author, his details should be in the theme copyrights. If they aren't please let me know and I'll contact him on your behalf.
Xtrato themes usually have the template coe and images packaged seperately to protec t the copyrights of the image and I'm not sure if this site is an authorised distributor.
