I'm a little confused, with RN2.1 what do i need to upload and update?

what version does it show when you go to sentinel admin / config page ?
then just download the UP package from nukescripts , upload/overwrite/and run the upgrade from the dropdown menu...

but i think in your case you need :

It's 2.5.06 as installed with RN2.1
The upgrade for 2.5.07 looks to be the full version minus the latest ip so i'm not sure what to upload or change

I think I get it, just upload all the files in html and run it, not the Edits_For_Core_Files

indeed.....
the upgrade only holds the files that are changed...
so yes..just upload, overwrite run upgrade and thats it..
