User Vanished from the site

Just noticed something very wierd.

In the user info block noticed that we had a new user registration, so I clicked on teh "new today" link under the membership section of the block which opened the user info addon module which showed his name email etc. When I clicked on his name to access his profile, it took me to the main admin page ( i was already logged in as admin).

So I clicked on the members list to try and access his profile that way. No mention of him, the info block now doesnt show him as being the last person to register and there is absolutely no sign of him in any of the SQL tables in the database.

He wasnt Houdini by the way.... Smile

Any ideas??? Anyone else seen this???

Clicking on the user name deletes the record.

ah, ok that explains that one...sorry for being a noob.
I assumed that it would open the user profile, and if it was going to erase anything that it would open some sort of confirmation request.

Oh well, I wont be doing that again, they say it's best to learn from your mistakes.

When I wrote that I was being spammed with false users. I did not want to have to confirm every delete. I agree that a confirmation feature is needed. I thought I had documented that?
