change colour of text in news title

Is it possible to change the colour of text in the title of site news, news ,old articles amd new topics which I have started. I only wish to change the colour in these titles.

I want the text to be white so I don't want the text to change on other topics which are not on dark blue. Only these few topics.

One way to do that would be to modify the theme. I think there is a function called themeindex() (check your theme's theme.php file) that displays news stories on the home page, and there is another function for when you click "read more". Those functions are handed the topic number, I think, and you could use that to conditionally change the font by outputting a different font tag or CSS class.

Too difficult for me to do. but thanks for your advice.
I was hoping I could do it with html.
