I get the following error:

Code:
Page Not Found

Referred From : http://www.class-171.com/INSTALLATION/installSQL.php
Your IP : 75.28.137.40
The Page Requested: /INSTALLATION/'.$_SERVER%5B'PHP_SELF'%5D.'?setup='.$setup.'
Agent : Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3
Redirect Status : 404

Also the browser points to:

Code:
http://www.class-171.com/INSTALLATION/'.$_SERVER%5B'PHP_SELF'%5D.'?setup='.$setup.'

I read the topic on making sure short tags are allowed, I contacted my provider and got the following reply from him.

Quote:
Hi there, I checked and allow_short_tags is enabled by default, see:

http://server4.alwayswebhosting.com/phpr.php

and search the page for short_open_tags and you will see we have it set to 1 (on) by default.

I even created a phpinfo() output page for you at:

http://class-171.com/phpr.php

and it confirms that in your directory as well short_open_tags is enabled... I don't think that this is your problem, ask the script author for help I would say! Wink

Go through your setup: http://www.class-171.com/INSTALLATION/setup.php

again and see if it happens again. If you tell me the settings you want, I can go through the setup for you and see if I can see the error message still and try to help further.

Cheers,

So I am wondering if there is anything else I can try, thank you!

I would verify that all the files that were supposed to get FTP'd, did get FTP'd ... and that prior to that the download of the distribution worked properly and was unzipped properly. Make sure there is a setup.php in your /INSTALLATION directory. The error message is indicating that there isn't and you would not be the first person to experience and error while FTP'ng files to a server.

Setup.php works fine as I can go to www.class-171.com/INSTALLATION/setup.php loads perfectly.

But there is an error on the bottom of the setup page that states that it's missing something in mysql.
