Problem with Messages module in charcoal2 theme.

Hi, I am new to phpnuke and Ravenscripts package.

I installed and all is fine (at the moment) except that when I try to type in the content of a message , story or news item via the administration module it doesnt seem to let me type in the box or the contents/text boxes dont appear.

I can select and alter all of the other properties but not contents.

I have tried other themes and the same result. With other themes such as kaput the text boxes for message, news or story contents dont appear.

Can anyone help?

Are you using the WYISWYG editor?

Also are any errors being generated? i.e. turn on error reporting in config.php

How do you set it use the wysiwyg editor? I dont get any editor toolbar.

PS: I have been using phpnuke 7.9 with the charcoal2 theme not a problem, but heard about security issues with the tinymce, so I have installed RavenScripts package (seperate install - not upgrade).

(I cant get to the large box, its as if its not active)

Browser?

I am thinking the issue is your browser, browser javascript settings, or a corrupt file.

I would make sure and use a good FTP client, such as FileZilla (free from sourceforge.net), to upload your files.

I used filezilla to upload the files.

It happens on in IE. I have tried with firefox and it work OK!

I will upload again and see what happens.

Well, that is definitely odd. I use IE 7 quite a bit along with FF 2 and have not experienced this problem. Maybe its an IE setting or one particular js file that is strictly used with IE that didn't get uploaded / properly? (Not sure really).
