Greetings All,
I updated my NS this morning and lost all my String blocks. You know all the spam adresses, and misc other things that need to be blocked.
Could someone send me their list of blocked strings?
Post up and I will PM you my e-mail address.
Thank You!!

Thank You Sir!
One of the things I have learned in all of this is you can not STOP this kind of folks but you can make it such a pain in their butt that they go somewhere else.
Here is a couple more that I have on my list...
Code:
list.ru
inbox.ru
rudemotor.com
|
Ya'll feel free to add to the list....I will ban them all.... |

One at a time.
The other alternative is to use phpMyAdmin and edit the string blocker row in nuke_nsnst_blockers. |

redhairz, I posted the exact strings that I use and I think Dawg has as well. The String Blocker will look for that string anywhere within the response.
If you are unfamiliar with phpMyAdmin, you would be better off just adding these one at a time through Nuke Sentinel's string blocker page. |

Hope you don't mind if I ask this. Why do you have most of your users in the protected IP range. If you are serious about using the string blocker then you probably should block them. Unless I am missing something you would only want your admins to be in the protected range, in fact you'd only want to protect very specific IP's. |

I agree with fkelly... only your admins should be in the protecting IP/ranges... |
