[Question] Nuke Sentinel - Need Answers

The right file I'm suppose to install?

I'm using phpNuke 7.9, the phpbb is at 2.0.22.

The instructions to install sentinel for me, is the same as the one in the readme?

And is Nuke Sentinel the security that gives confirmation codes during registration and login? What Benifits do i have of installing this? Why is it "Important"?

The file name looks correct, which I assume you downloaded from nukescripts.net?

You will need to make sure you are using the latest patched files to install Sentinel.

The install instructions should more or less be the same as those in the readme files. There are some differences in the different versions of Nuke, but it should be easy to work out.

The confirmation codes (i.e. captcha) are part of the standard Nuke and can be turned on in the config.php file.

Bog standard Nuke especially those after 7.6 have security issues shall we say. The patched files and Sentinel help to plug those holes.

It looks like you already have your site up and running, but you could consider installing RavenNuke which has the latest patched files and Sentinel already installed. Also it has a new captcha which makes it harder to bypass, as well as many other enhancements.

Which Raven Nuke version do i download? im using phpnuke 7.9
Do i need to install that table thing?

RavenNuke has Sentinel already integrated. The latest version of RN is 2.10.01.

If you have a brand new site just dump it. If you have content you want to keep you will have to convert your database tables to the RN formats. There are a lot of threads already on this subject.
