Security image does always load.

The security code doesn't always load. You have to refresh the screen sometimes 4 times to make it load. What can I do? zit used to work fine. www.BFMarines.com

I have seen this happen on a Windows platform only. Unfortunately, I have never figured out how to fix (or what was really causing it for that matter).

I took the simple way out. I disabled it!

Had an issue just like this on a Linux server runnnig the Ensim control panel, never actully looked into it, but it would only happen after about an hour of a fresh install of phpbb 2.2. Pretty sure it was somthing to do with my sessions on the hosting account though.

motherfracker out of curiosity, what happens if you switch your own account theme to one of the built in themes like fisibice?
I'm wondering if it is your image intensive theme or a server resource problem as the front page takes an age to load for me.

I didn't try that. I have talked to the guys at Clan Themes and they say it's not theme related. It's been disabled anyway. I think I like it better without it. I have web partner who lives in Wales and the page doesn't take very long for him to load. The host is in California US.

I wasn't trying to suggest it was a bad theme but that sometimes large images can cause issues. I note looking at the source code that some images on the front page are dragged in from an external source and this can sometimes cause problems as the site hangs when the external source gets laggy.
I just tried your site again and it loaded pretty quickly this time so it may be as I originally suspected - a resource issue.

You are correct about theo outside links. I have a friend (the one in Wales) who helped with the creation of the site and he does that. I tried to get him to see the light but he didn't.
