I have a test site with RN 2.02 and NSN News 2.0RC2, but haven't updated it to RN 2.10. |

That was my experience so I ditched it early on, BUT, I could have sworn that others have gotten it working. |

I think it works, for the most part, but needs some touch ups here and there... |

I was using it on my previous site, I did have to fix a few things but after that it worked nice. Just wondering about adding the editor to it. |

If you look at the download of nukeWYSIWYG, it includes replacement files to use with NSN News 2.0 with the editor already added. |

Thanks, I did look after updating the post and saw a download for it that I hadn't seen the last time I visited the site. |

I can't say whether this applies to NSN news since I have never looked at it but ... I was recently working with NSN scripts that I purchased as the basis for a Paypal application and they were DEFINITELY not HTML 4.01 compliant. For instance the attribute values in a form were not quoted. So, I think that if you use these scripts you might be cutting the legs out from under a lot of the work that was done to make RN compliant. That's just a guess that someone who has the scripts would have to confirm. And while it might not matter to you, a lot of the efficiency work that was done with RN, like changing to string concatenation instead of double quotes wherever possible, will probably also be undone. |
