Black page when changing Admin password

I had to restore my site from scratch.

When I log in as Superadmin and try to change my admin password, I get
the black screen of death. I don't know why it won't let me change this.

Could it be nuke sentinel is not letting me.

EDIT: My lame attempt to fix below made it worse.

I use http_auth for sentinel. When I backed up my files about
a month ago, I forgot to back up the .htaccess file. So, in my infinite
wisdom, I uploaded the sample.htaccess. However, now my http_auth
password don't work now so I can't get into my admin now either.

When you got the 'black screen of death', did it say anything? Like why you got blocked?

Try removing .htaccess and replace with one from the stick RN.

Is it possible to change the GOD password from the admin backend?

I uploaded my files and database again and was able to change the
password by deleting the nuke_auth admins. I was then able to
change the password through recreation of the admins.

I can change my other admins using the edit admins but I cannot change
the GOD password or I get a nukesentinel black screen...
