I have already used the forums to fix a few other problems I had, but I was not able to find anything in reference to this one. After I hit the core load tables, i get this error back a few seconds later

Quote:
The exact error message that your MySQL server reported is:
MySQL Error # 4 = Can't create table '.\databasename\nuke_cities.frm' (errno: 121)

Thank you for your time with this.

Before I research this issue, please edit your post removing key things that apply to your site ie, the database name. That information should never be public.

No Problem, Now it looks like the error is thrown up when there is a duplicate Key entry, this could possibly be caused by the script lagging or, mysql buffer being overwhelmed.

I would sudjest that you delete everything in the database, then Try it again.

I think that possibly your server was under attack.

Hmmm, this sucks. I have actually tried deleting it like 3 times and I get the same thing every time. It is my own server in my house that I have been using to learn php.

What version of mysql?

Another thing to note, if it is hosted under windows, then your server maybe prone to lagging due to the resources being so limited by windows.

It is MySQL 5.0

Is there anything I can do to get these tables loaded? The first go around I had Nuke 7.8 running just fine, I just wanted to get a much more secure site with Raven Nuke. And thank you for everything gregexp.

I would suggest that you remove the code for the cities table from your installation script. Then run installSQL.php to see if all the other tables are created correctly. Assuming that to be the case, then use phpMyAdmin and try to load the cities table through phpMyAdmin.

Thank you Raven. That part worked, but I just cannot win with this stuff. When I got down to the HTML News Letter tables I get this

The exact error message that your MySQL server reported is:
MySQL Error # 4 = BLOB/TEXT column 'cdescription' can't have a default value

I am wondering if you are running in "strict" mode and that's kicking off errors with some of the older insert statements that may not conform to strict mode. See the portion of the MYSQL manual that discusses strict mode and try redoing your settings to see if that affects your problem. From the manual it looks like you can change this setting in your mysql.ini file ... but I can't confirm this from first hand experience.

Thank you Fkelly. That fixed the second problem and let me get all the database tables set up.

I was trying for days to get RavenNuke v2.10.01 to install - this time on a windows based server with sql version 5

Step 1 of the installer would stop on the cities table. After reading this I cut the cities part out & put in a separate file ... renamed what was left to rn_core_pl32.sql ran part 1 - it worked - ran all the other install steps . . renamed rn_core_pl32.sql to rn_core_pl32.sql-1 . Took the cities table info and renamed it rn_core_pl32.sql - ran step 1 in the install - boom it worked!

Much Joy !

When I read the text I quoted here a huge light bulb went off in me head !

Mucho Thanks !
