Possible that has something to do with the theme. Whats your theme ? Try it again with an other of the standard themes and let us know your results.

Ok I use fisubice. I uploaded deep blue and it works sort of, but I don't like how it's setup on either theme. When you first make the journal entry you have 1 text box titled "body" with the fckeditor shown above it. when you edit an existing entry it shows 2 text boxes, the top one is titled "body" and has a smaller version editor above it and the bottom text box has the normal fckeditor.

While in "edit mode" if you add text to the top box nothing gets added. If you add text to the bottom box it gets added. If you delete text from the top or bottom box nothing gets deleted unless you delete it from both text boxes!

Fisubice will not edit at all.

Montego or Kguske should look into this because I don `t use an editor and I just bashed-up 2 of my testsites so I donĀ“t have enough time to look into this. Sorry.

zlmark, I have just gone into the Journal module on a fresh installation of RN2.10.01 and I am not seeing two text boxes no matter what I try and do. If you upgraded to 2.10.01 from a previous version of PHP-Nuke or even a pre 2.10.x version of RavenNuke you might still have some files hanging around that should not be there.

I would suggest comparing the directories/files that you have on your site to what you downloaded in the 2.10.01 download. Remove files on your site which should not be there (under modules/Journal directory I think).

Unfortunately I am NOT the Journal expert. Not sure if anyone really is. But, I do know that kguske fixed it to work with nukeWYSIWYG (FCK Editor) and had to remove some files, so he would be as close as the expert as we're probably going to get.

Ok, finally got around to this. deleted the extra index.html files that was buried deep in the journal module, seems that was the problem.............Thanks!

BTW, decided to tackle re-writing this module (it was quite the mess to be honest) for the upcoming RN 2.20.00 release. I hope that you will like...
