Do we have a version that works with this latest raven package? I was dismayed to find it not included in the package.

and why should we include this ? The last time I used CNB YA I found some small bugs related to the registration. Not sure if those are fixed in the meantime but it was reason to deinstall this completely.
But if you like it - need it install it.

My mistake, I thought it was previously included....

In any case I need some way to approve/limt members and add additinal fields. I tried the 7.6 version of the approve membership module but it did not work.

Do you have a better suggestion?

Hard to say because there are only a limited number of modules who can handle the user managment but both CNB YA and the Approved Membership Module from A.K. are popular.

Montego is working on a simplified subset of the AM module. He might be able to address your question when he gets to it. There is general agreement that we need either something like CNBYA that addresses YA deficiencies "globally" or some type of AM module that doesn't break when you do a Forums upgrade (which the current AM does if you are not "oh so careful"). But getting from agreement to a specific solution is another issue and will take some time.

Unfortunately, the only piece that I have worked on and hopefully will get to releasing soon is just the "approval" part, a "AMM Lite" if you will. Once you add the "additional fields" part, it starts getting very complicated. I am not going to tackle that piece as I would want to change it to not modify core nuke tables, which the existing Approved Membership Module does.

I have CNBYA 442 currently installed with the new RN.

So far the only problem I have is with the Captcha gfx check in the user_info block that came with RN. It shows up fine but does not let you login. Redirected to "Login Incorrect! Please Try Again... " with the old GFX numbers graphic for CNBYA. To which login works fine.

I have searched the forums but no-one else seems to have found the same issue. Its been a while since I've played with CNBYA code so if anyone can forward me to an existing topic or help with the code to incorporate captcha in to CNBYA it would be most apprieciated.

Cheers

Trubador, you might want to check with Technocrat as he wrote this captcha system originally for Nuke Evolution and I also believe he has included CNBYA with that as well.

One other issue.

If you UPDATE your nuke check your nuke version number in PhPmyadmin!!!!

modules/Your_Account/admin/modifyuser.php uses $Version_Num to display subscription info in ACP Edit users. If you have used the update your version number may change to RN2.10.1.

CNBYA will no longer display subscription details for your users unless you change the version number to 7.6!!!

Having some trouble getting the new gfx and cnbya to work together. I would like to use the captcha system in cnbya also. Anyone integrated the two yet?
