Joined month not translated upon registration

In a forum post or the memberlist is the date given, when the member joined the site. This dates month is in English and not translated to the chosen language. The month joined is stored in nuke_users and field users_regdate. It seems to me to be created upon registration in Your Account modules index.php.

This is the relevant code I think:

Is there a way to get Joined month translated upon registration?
