How To Activate The Forum?

How can I activate the forum module.
If I click on the forums link in the navigation bar its says "Sorry, module isn't active".
I tried some setting in the admin panel for the forum but somehow I didn't get it to work.

Admin>Modules>

Scroll down to 'Forums' then over to "Activate".

Then go to Admin>Forums>Forum Admin - Management>

Then create a new forum.

When I go to the admin panel of my site I can see the forum module.

When I click it it leads me to the admin panel of the forum.

As admin I can see the forums but for normal users it's not activated and I still can't find the activation part.

You need to go into the Modules section and activate the forum module, as you would with any other module.

The modules section should appear under the Administration Menu in your admin control panel.

Ok, problem solved. The problem was I always clicked the forum section and not the modules one.
