just a quick note to say its great,
one think i think would benefit the whole community is a sample stand alone app tutorial (just a small one) that shows how to convert it to raven nuke, this could bring a lot of new mods and addon's to the scene.
i think anyway as there is very little up to date info on this. |

Sorry, didn't understand you. Convert what to RN?
Most modules, blocks, addon's, etc for PHP-Nuke will already work with RavenNuke. |

sorry it was late that doesnt even make sense to me lol
what i meant was taking a stand alone php application like "wordpress blog" for example and creating a tutorial on porting it to rn, obviously not wordpress but just a small application like that to teach everyone, i think it would benefit the community leaps and bounds.
i know there are some tuts out there and specifically php how to module has a tut in it but i think a proper tut by the team here would be a gret needed improvement to get the new mods rolling in again. |

Connecting two PHP applications is a difficult process, mostly because each program has a certain way of doing things. Data is stored differently, code layout may be different. It is rather impossible to describe all the in-and-outs of such a conversion. Even the phpBB port has gone through many changes to get where it is.
Wordpress itself is not that easy.. I'm not sure there is active Wordpress port for phpNuke (though I admit I haven't searched recently) |

wordpress was just an example, but a simple one would be a good thing i think.so people can see how it was actually changed.
like a one page script converted for nuke is all i was saying. |

There are already simple examples on how to create modules in phpNuke. Stuff like integrating user accounts, shared logins, database integration are really beyond the scope of RavenNuke |
