gfx check stopped working

Hy there, I`m running a phpnuke 7.8 website with chatserv patch. For some time now my gfx check does not work neither anything else relying on the gd library. The funny thing is I have a dedicated server and some other phpnuke sites where those problems don`t appear and everything works fine. So GD should be running fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I should look and check. My phpnuke website is heavy modified and it might be possible that I messed something up.

Search how other solved this issue becauste you are not the first with this problem.
Spaces are often the reason for this so first check your files.

I don`t know where to look nor which files are associated with the gd mod

I don´t use this Nuke version but spaces or empty lines at the beginning or end in files like config.php, modules.php, mainfile.php are often the reason.
Does IE show a red x or nothing ?
