Well, I have been just sucked into the magical world of PHPNuke and have just been mesmorized over the past couple of weeks with testing the program.

I have pretty much found how most of the modules and blocks function.

However, with the various sites using PHPNuke I find myself in awe of the many "special" themes that have been developed or have been altered to the whim of the webmaster.

How is this done? Is there a good "tutorial" on editing themes?

Unfortunately no there isn't. And, not all themes are created equal Laughing. And not all come with Forum themes either! The best way to get your hands dirty is to take one of the original, more simple themes, like Kaput or Karate, and start playing. Wish I had a better answer, but that reality. Welcome to my site -- and to Nuke!

I had earlier today, downloaded a couple of theme editors.

AT-Lite (which when I ran it, gave me NO indication as to how to use it. It is supposed to be an HTML like interface for editing and creating themes. The author has a $39 commercial version (which isn't much as far as I am concerned) but I haven't any idea what the program is like, would you know anything about the software?

I also have another Theme editor installed on my site (theme-editor67) and that program just goes off the screen (width wize) and I can't figure out how to use it either.

Well, would appreicate any insight that you can lend me...maybe this is making a mountain out of a mole hill Embarassed

Thanks for any guidance...

While those theme editors may be a great idea, I personally can't see it really taking hold. It will take the creativity away as it must use a codified theme which is great from a maintenance stand point, but not from style. I mean no disrespect to the author(s) or their motive(s).
