Hi guys,
I'm new to this site and also to the entire webcoding stuff. I'm about to start my own forum and I'm not sure yet which application to use.
So i have a few questions and I hope it's the right section to post them since this is a general php section.

1. Is it possible to use "php Nuke" themes for "RavenNuke"?

2. Can you link me to some "RavenNuke" themes because I haven't find some on this board?

3. What modifications for "RavenNuke" can you advise?

3. If I have "phpBB", "php Nuke" or "RavenNuke" installed, would it be possible to change the application without losing the stuff on my site such as posts and other kind of texts?

4. Is it possible to use "phpBB" or "php Nuke" modifications for RavenNuke"? Or is there any way of converting them for "RavenNuke"?

I thank you guys in advance and look forward for some helpful posts.

1) Yes

2) There are many installed already, though as I said, you can use phpNuke themes

3) There are many that are available in the package, check it out

3 -repeat) It depends on what you are switching to. There is no support provided to convert from these, only to these software

4) Most mods should work within RavenNuke

Ok. Thank you for the answers. This helped me a lot. So it's only possible to switch between the versions of 1 application just like from "RavenNuke 1" to another version of it. Thanks Wink .

You can switch over from standard Nuke upgrade/downgrade to RavenNuke without loosing anything but you need to follow the HowTo included within the RavenNuke pack.
There are enough themes available but the standard Nuke themes contains often the same bugs and beneed this your site will normally not validate at W3C org with such a theme because of all these warnings.
Also a few older modules e.g. for Nuke 6.5 will not work well.
Whatever you do don´t forget to make Backups ! Smile
