That shouldn't be happening. Is this a clean domain? What I mean is, you are not redirecting a domain into sub directory of another domain or anything?

For anyone else reading this, it seems bigbadjames ftp software has uploaded the files in ascii mode rather than binary so this should be easily fixed.
Please let me know if you have any other problems, we are here to help.

i had uploaded the zip file and let the websites extract utility extract everything, then i used cpanels move feature to move the htmlfiles into the root directory.
(linux based server)

Not sure why cPanel would do that but as you can see, after uploading the files manually with ftp software it seems to be working fine. You may want to send a support ticket to your host and ask them to find out why either 'moving' the files or unzippping them with cPanel is causing them to do so in ascii mode.
I always use ftp myself although it takes longer but in theory unzipping the files on the server should not normally cause a problem as I know many people do it that way - me, I'm just old fashined and like to do things the hard way Wink
