Does anyone know if there exist ajax-based instant messanger integrated in PHP-Nuke, maybe simular like Google Gmail Chat or Facebook chat?

If you do a search of the forums you will find some previous discussions regarding compatible chat programs for Nuke

I tried out an early version of PHP121.

It could be integrated with Nuke, but was primarily a stand alone PHP application. Many things could have changed by now though, that was a year or more ago.

I sort of agree with djmaze, using PHP and AJAX for chat is kind of awkward at best, and can generate lots of hits on your site.

We solved the problem on my site by running an IRC server. It's been great.
