The only working copy I still have is a file set for the fisubice theme used in RavenNuke but it that is any use to you to use as a comparison, then I can make it available as a download for you.

I got the flash sig working now. I found a solution to the problem on other site. I used to code format below & it works...

<embed src="http://yourimagelink.swf" width="400" height="100"></embed>

Hmm, didn't Guardian suggest using the EMBED tag previously. Wink

Glad it is working.

I wouldn't say that was a 'solution' - that is how the flash file should be referenced using the BBCode mod.
No offence meant but if you had provided a link to your site earlier, as asked, we could have resolved this days ago.

Glad you are sort now though.

I did. That link I provided at the start of the thread is the link to the sig. The sig is stored in my friend's site. In my friend's site the image is showing up but in mine it's just the code. I told you guys that before didn't I.

Actually you didn't.

Do you have a link to a post with the code being used so I can see what is still getting striped out?

Your friends site is clearly working so how could anyone have seen 'what is still getting stripped out'?
However I can see that I should have been far more explicit so the fault is of course mine, I should have just asked you for a link to your website.

I did ask for a link to his website and to open the forum for me to view the problem but he kindly refused saying that I did not need to see it. Smile Your "solution" is a workaround for getting the signiture show, but is far from a solution to the actual problem. When we ask to see your site, or a page there, it is normally for a reason and not for the fun of it. It really does help if you can provide all of the information requested from you when you are asking for help in a forum setting.

BTW, before anyone takes offense, the term "you" in my post refers to not only the poster of this thread but all people who ask for assistance.

Hi Folks! I was reading all your posts and I noticed that something is missing here.

Guardian was right because html embed is one the best way to get rid of malicious codes in php.

I tested already this code

Code:
<embed src="http://yourimagelink.swf" width="400" height="100"></embed>

and I get this error

Code:
<embed></embed>

Go to Admin Control Panel and click on Forums which redirects to modules/Forums/admin/index.php

Once u are there u need to search for this option:

General Admin

Avatar Management no
Backup Database no
Configuration yes
Mass Email no
Restore Database no
Smilies no
Word Censors no

Click on Configuration and search for this option:

Allowed HTML tags
Separate tags with commas

code:

Code:
b,i,u,pre

replace with

Code:
b,i,u,pre,embed

NO COMMA AT THE END PLEASE! That's all.Now html embed can work fine.

I had to edit this post because I didnt read one part Guardian wrote. Sorry

If your forum has 'html' enable in the forum config, have you tried using the html code instead? You'll need to add the EMBED and OBJECT html tags to the 'allowed' html in the forum config.

He didnt give details so I let the rest above for more info..

This post should be changed soon because I just click on Forum Attachment Mod and I found this.

Generally speaking, it is a bad idea to allow embedding flash objects as malicious code can be added to the action event.
