Hi,

I just upgraded my staging server to the latest RN, and now all of a sudden, i'm getting the dreaded invalid IP - i've read the multitude of topics on this subject, but none have specifically answered my question.

I know that to make it work, i just have to remove those numbers where the c2c value is 0, 01 or 02 - which i have done, and it works fine.

my question is, the option that is in both config.php and rnconfig.php

Code:
$bypassNukeSentinelInvalidIPCheck = true;
SHOULD work, it's there for a reason, and if i set it to "true" it should bypass the check - so Why does it NOT work?

i dont anticipate problems on the production site, i'm just curious as to why this option is not doing what it's supposed to do.

thanks!

That $var switch should not be in config.php, it should only be in rnconfig.php.
The only switch that should be in config.php is for error reporting.

I have not had a chance to set my new server up yet so I'm hoping someone else can test this as I cannot test whether the invalidip bypass works only with 'unknown' IP's as against local IP's, 127.0.x.x, 198.192.x.x etc.

Yes, you are correct - it is not in config.php - i meant to type in mainfile.php
