Why no .zip for 2.3???

o.k. I know you guys swear by the 7z but I have tries several extractors and can not get 2.3 to extract. I have Winzip 12 and peazip right now and can't get it to extract.

Any chance of getting a .zip for 2.3?

There is also a .tgz in the downloads also.

Is there any reason why you don't want to use 7zip?

I would love to use 7z but have been unable to get the dang thing to extract.

I think we are getting our wires crossed. I mean the piece of software called 7zip, unless that is what you mean?
