nukeSEO DH was committed to SVN tonight. I hope to have an updated demo posted next week so you can see how it works. It's quite a bit of changes to standard files, so it's probably best to test it as part of the RavenNuke 2.4.0 release.

Thanks! There has been PLENTY of help from the RN team already to make this work correctly, and I'm sure those who beta test RN 2.4 will help, too. Montego and Palbin have found most, if not all, of the needles in the haystack, and Guardian has been working on theme integration. We'll need a little help with translations, too. Overall, it's looking really well.

My 2 cent:
Create an entry(news, download weblink forum post etc etc) , process to database ,create a block TAG's for user , create a block TAG's for admin, per what ever page module or content enabled.
Admin block has option: when click a key word , edit it(show text input field) and store the edited word as a tag , basta.
The tag creation is only alowed to process when a content is generated.

however i can tell , it wont improove much more to default search results in for example google.
This isnt how google works, there's more behind the door then just a tag( for example if you wire some $ to them).

i searched over 10 years on the net and still had to search in the search results.
If you ever want to make a break true in any search engine's result.
combinate your tag's as a sentence and make sure this sentence is called atleast once inside your website.

PS: i never understood why to be found (on the net) is so important to adapt your script to it, for me it never makes sence and it never wil.
My conclusion is that you are just a bad content provider if no 1 visits you.

i could read my own post over and over again , even if i get 1000 years old , i still would laugh.
whatever you try, it never works.
do you realise, that when ever you submit yourself to such script adaptions, you basicly are turning yourself into a machine involving into a commercial competition of company's that extend yours, using your resources and content as an energy/food suplement?

oke, just a 'bit'
[PS] i admit i have nothing against a good covering of use meta tags.
However , i think all should realise it wont improove your site's search results aloth.
The whole key is simple.
Imagine your site is only use reference to ' Jezus' , when ever none of your content refer to 'Jezus' , it doesnt have a chance to be in the top 10 results.
However if you would be a prediker and start all your repley's or other content with: and 'jezus' said... you are a competition to other predikers.
But behold , if you are 'jezus' things change in googles virtual brain.
suddenly when used 'I' = 'Jezus' you become verry populair... for a period of time , until googles brain become smart and defines you arent 'jezus' , becouse he's death.
So it trow you out of it's search results top 10 table and put you where ever it decide you belong.
Finaly , it might be want to take some care to you couse you, atleast took the oppertunity telling google you arent jezus , couse when click 'jesus' it refer to your profile , wich you defined somewhere in your site, posseble phpbb or VB, whatever... script re-direct, and is stored into googles server aswell.
and whenever google detect that , it start to run it's bots to search for the o so common script provided meta tag's.Why should it else send more as one bot to visit you?

You just made an excellent argument in favor of generating and / or overriding the META tags on each page. In fact, Google (and may some other search engines, too) ARE smart enough to know that sites leverage these tags to get better placement, and lower the rankings of pages whose tags don't match the content.

But there is one very important factor that many seem to miss regarding these tags - they aren't just for search engines. The title tag, for example, is extremely helpful for human visitors. And the description is also used in many places viewed by humans.

Finally, if your site has excellent content, but no one knows it's there, no one will visit you either. So you must work with search engines - and other sites - to make your site known. If you do that successfully and still no one visits, then yes, maybe you should try to improve the content.

Search engines do use the description metatag sometimes.

Probably doesn't apply to Nuke sites, but if you had a purely flash website with no real content that the search engine bot can read you will often find that the description tag appearing in search results.

I've seen this with car manufacturer websites.
