I tried a search and didn't quit find what I’m looking for. I tried to see if I could look through some of the other pre-installed blocks that display random headlines etc. But, I just couldn't decipher it.
So, what I’m trying to do is make a block that shows for example: Random Ad listings from my classifieds DB or just the last few new listings will work to.
I was hoping to be able to figure this out on my own by looking at already made blocks and just changing the DB tables that was being pulled. But, being a noob to this still; I hope that someone here could help me out.
Thanks for any help on this,
Rick Leigh |

Are the classifieds DB tables in the same DB as the nuke tables? |

No, the classifieds are in its own DB. |

Then changing the tables that a block pulls won't work because it will be trying to pull them from the wrong database. |

I don't know how the classfieds script works, but you would need to incorporate it into the block. |

It was a purchased script so I'm not sure what I'm allowed to post without getting into trouble. the creator is no longer around to get support. Their forums are down and the site acts like its been taken over by melware so I don't want to post it for anyone to get their computer messed up. |

If you can setup an RSS Feed on your Classifieds site, you could display that feed in a block on your main site using nukePIE™ |

OK it will be difficult for anybody to advise without seeing the code.
Have you considered using the Nuke Classifieds module? |
