Security Code Captcha image

Hi.

Is there a way to change Security Code Captcha image on RN v2.30.01 to normal PHP-Nuke Security Code image (just normal 6 digits number with background).

Not a quick way, no. It's pretty much integrated everywhere I believe
You could maybe change the character set to use digits only

Not to change all, only just character make it look simple from alphabet + background graphic to original numeric on PHP-Nuke. Its ok if there is a hard way to do just if can be change.

The easiest way is probably to change the options in /includes/class.php-captcha.php

You won't get it to look exactly like phpNuke, but you should be able to get it close.

The reason we changed the captcha is to make it less predictable and more difficult for bots to get through and spam sites. By changing from the alphabet to numbers this reduces the possible combinations and therefore in theory makes it easier to get through by the bots.

There are other posts in the forums about how to change the settings, so you might want to do a search to find out more.

Just for my knowledge, is this alphabet case sensitive or only capital letter.

It is not case sensitive.
