Hello Raven Community,
Has anyone ran in to this problem?
In Edit Users > Configuration > Permission
Allow User Email Change:

When set to "Yes" and a user re-sets his/her e-mail, the user will receive an e-mail from my RN because if I can remember it is critical info, the e-mail will have a new pass code which they can login with. My problem with my installation is that after they try to login they are not able to. Also when I search the user name in Edit Users it shows, but when trying to login as user it will state that username does not exist, but also when I try to reset pass code in admin no luck. I had this problem previously with RN 2.3 and I was hoping it fixed itself with the upgrade to 2.3.1, but no luck.
Any idea?? for now I just have the option set to no and do the e-mail change manual in DB.

A few questions:
- did you verify that the user was in the database? (I don't believe changing the email address removes the user or puts it back in the waiting users table)
- what did you mean by no luck when resetting the password in admin?
- did you or the user delete cookies and / or cache before attempting to log in?

I'll do some testing to check on this, but answers to the above would help.

I believe the user will either need to log out or delete cookies.

Ok, retested. I set up permissions for users to be able to change e-mail.
Created a test user name.
Tried to change e-mail in Your Account> result it would give me the following "You are now subscribed to our Newsletter" I was not able to change e-mail in this section.

In forums Profile> I got the following:

Your profile has been updated. However, you have changed vital details, thus your account is now inactive. Check your e-mail to find out how to reactivate your account, or if admin activation is required, wait for the administrator to reactivate it.

I received two e-mails in my new e-mail account:
With title "Change E-Mail Account"
When clicking on the link provided on this e-mail I got the following message:
ERROR: You need to login to confirm your new email address.
When I try to login I get the following message:
Sorry, no corresponding user info was found

The second e-mail with title:
Reactivate your account
When I click the link in the e-mail I get the following:
Blank body, header and left blocks show but nothing else, no error messages or anything else.

Hopefully that is not too confusing. As admin Edit Users> users I am able to search and find the user. Therefore it is in the DB. I do not show it in the Deactivated Users list.

Regards, and thanks for your time.
