Are there any docs associated with NukeFeed in 2.3.01? I think I have it set up correctly as far as following the config and so on but the problem is although I have "recent" and "20" set up for "forums" the actual feeds are the most ancient 20 feeds and nowhere near "recent". Need help with this.

I'm sorry you're confused. It should show the most recent 20 topics. Please post or pm a link so I can check it out. |

The feed is showing the most recent posts for a specific forum, and it does this correctly. Feeds can be defined at the module level (e.g. all News items, all forum posts) or other levels (e.g. all News items in topic 1, all Forum posts in Forum 2).
On the forum feed, set the following (if you wish to show the most recent posts across all forums):
content = Forums
order = recent
level = module
The level is currently set to level = Forum and the level (Forum ID) is set to 1 (your first forum). If the level is set to module, the feed will include all forums visible to the public (e.g. the most recent posts in all forum categories and forums). But if it's set to category or forum, it will only include posts in the category or forum specified in the level ID (the number of the level ID corresponds to the category or forum number).
This is explained in the popup help, but an additional FAQ might make it more clear. |

Absolutely correct. I just discovered the "module" setting in the drop down and that is what does it like I wanted. "News" was already set up but I didn't pay any attention to it because it didn't say "Forum" or whatever. But looking at it I say it was set for "module" and then did that for the UFAQ Feed .. Yow, what a learning curve ... thanks. Too bad my "curve" flattened out years ago.

Working good except for one minor issue. The "Feeds" work ok and the RSS icon in the URL address window works as well. However, a user complained that he can't get the Google or Yahoo readers to work, both throw an error to the effect that they can't capture any feeds. This "may" be due to the fact that I have the feeds set to "registered users only" and Google or Yahoo aren't reg'd users. I switched it back to "all users" and will see what happens now.
Are there any security issues to configuring the feeds module for "any user" access?

Are your feeds for "any user" or for reg'd users only? Google and Yahoo readers work ok?
Cheers

Yes, has to be open to all and no, there are no security issues with doing that. |

Thanks, comforting to know. But Google/Yahoo have a lot to be desired as "readers".
