Has anyone else ever found themselves procrastinating scripting a module or something of that nature? I think its happening to me right now. I have the ideas, I like my ideas and im excited to see the outcome of my ideas but for some reason i just don't feel like scripting it. I know ill script it sooner or later but just not now i guess. Maybe its Procrastination or maybe im just lazy. hehe has this happened to anyone else??

ROFL!

But actually I know exactly how you feel! Sometimes I just can't seem get to get started. I do find though sometimes after having stopped for quite awhile if I am forced to do it for a client or something I find myself enjoying it and getting back into the swing of things and actually start craving working on the bigger more exciting projects.

So here is something you might try to get yourself motivated to start. Often the cool ideas you know you'd love to complete are rather big somewhat daunting tasks so instead of trying to work on it or even think about working on it find yourself some little coding task that you know you could complete in a day or less. Like perhaps a new simple block that does something (perhaps an improved forum advance block) Or random pic block? Anything so long as it is really quick and easy. Cause once you do that you'll kinda feel inspired to work the bigger project. But make sure you also break the bigger project into as small set of tasks as possible and just concentrate at knocking off some of the smaller tasks each at a time and hopefully before you know it the project is done.

Maybe it´s a kind of burnout.
There isn´t a perfect recipe to help you but selfmotivation, discipline and a good constitution are the important factors for "healing".

I know i'm not as good as a coder as the rn team , but still I can do some decent stuff when I discipline myself.
