You need to turn on error reporting and see what errors you are getting? |

in your config.php file, findCode: $display_errors = false;
|
and change it to true. Try to register again and you should receive an error at the top of the page. Copy and paste that error message in this forum. |

Hi.
I´ve changed config.php
When I try to register, there´s no error message.
I´ve tried to ask my password for the user that I´ve created in the install proccess using "Lost Password", and I received the message with the code for change the password. The email account who sends the lost password is my own account who I used for register the admin user.
Could you try to register?

Have you modified anything in the Your_Account module? Does that password strength meter come with RavenNuke or was it added? |

Comes with RavenNuke. I only added a theme.
Could be an error with the emailing address or configuration (like STMP or POP3) that I give during the install?.
Where can I check the mailing adress?. |

in your admin preferences. Go to admin.php and click Preferences. BTW, be sure to change display errors back to false. |

nasio, you are using a free hosting provider. Not necessarily an issue depending on the host. RavenNuke(tm), out-of-the-box, uses standard PHP mail() function. Please check with your free hosting provider if they support this. If they do not, then, and only then, should you set up SMTP. You would do this via the TegoNuke(tm) Mailer and in Forums configuration. But, again, ONLY if your host will not allow the standard mail() function. There are other threads here with help on SMTP issues. |

Hi Montego. I´m using mail() function in Tego and I recibed an email for "lost password" that I asked to myself.
It´s strange to me that the mailing address that sends the lost password is my own mail address (superdabi@gmail.com).
I don´t know how works PHP mail() function and I was thinking that could be an error in the way that I configure the mailing service of the web and it´s the cause of the problem.
I´m not sure that it´s any conflict with the mail account provided by the hosting and the mailing account from the web.
I don´t have any idea how works this module and mailing system and I´m very lost, so I could telling nosenses and I ask you forgive me, and help me a little. |

The Administrator mail who shows in Preferences is my own email. Is it correct? |

That is correct. What they are saying is that it is an issue with you web hosting provider. |

I´m looking in web hosting provider forums if there´s any problem with function mail().
In which file is the send registration email function?
I´ve compared the steps fo the registration of my web with this site, and after fill the "Register New User" form and click "Continue", doesn´t appear the last page "New User Registration: Final Step".... |

You also need to look at your server error log. If you use cPanel or Plesk then it's an option in the control panel. See if any errors are being reported there. |

Turn on White Spaces option so when u modify something u notice about dangerous white spaces.
If you wanna have a serious decent site please dont use free hosting. U will have a terrible headache and I dont think u will stay with that host. U will always delete it. I tested not only RavenNuke, many other nuke version and they always suffer from the same desease function mail().
One question to the spanish guy
Why I always see spanish people hosting all different nuke version to free hosting. I desagree completly because for me All Nuke has a lot of values and when u upload it to a free hosting it is like you are putting in a garbage place. It is nothing against spanish people but I can mention many sites which suffers from the same problem because of FREE HOSTING. |

Refered from : http://www.lamazmorramalaga.hostei.com/admin.php
Your address IP: 85.137.151.29

I don´t understand what are you telling me. You aren´t concise. If you think that the error could be in any white space that I could introduce in the code, I´m newbie but not stupid. I´m checking everything what I´m doing. It´s embarrasing for me and frustating for you that everybody has givin me support and I don´t pay attention.
If you think the error could be in any changed (for me) line of the code, please tell me, but you must be concise.

It´s my first web (second because first was hacked). You maybe think like me that it´s important before run, learn to walk. When I make everything works fine, I´ll get a paying hosting, but first, I must check if I can make run my web.

Like everything in this life, every person has his brain and uses it like he think he must do. This website is for a group of friends who play Warhammer (miniatures, not online). I think php is the best way to make a web. I tell Raven that I´m very pleased with RavenNuke (he recommended me after first web was hacked). Obviously, the hosting cost is very cheap for a group of 20 person, so I´m sure we´ll pay a hosting. You must understand that it´s very hard for a person to make everything works fine when the code, the sites, the FAQ´s, the help files it´s in another language. Try to make a web without idea with all this things that I´ve numbered in spanish. You maybe jump off a bridge.
Sorry for the off-topic and please, take back over my problem.
Thx again. |

What I noticed here and other forums, many users forget to set nuke sentinel up and just install it without reading installation guide. I never get hacked since I use phpnuke. I am very sure if you read installation guide and read forums it will be 99% that u make your nuke secure but as u said before. If u dont pay attention on this they will hack u even if u use 7 kind of protection on your website.
I already checked your site and it is not raven nuke. it is your hosting. I will give you a cheap hosting with a very decent cost but I am very sure if you ask Raven u can try your website on his server and ask the price or discount. There is always a posibility to test your nuke on a very decent server.
Try this one
http://www.3ix.org/
$1 dolar per month. Maybe u can buy a coffee in Madrid capital and it will cost more than that. Another issue. If you pay for something and it doesnt go well. U can always try other version of nuke but u can always use that sever and domain for other things.
Try that one and be serious with nuke if you wanna learn. Otherwise u will keep on asking the same problem all the time. |

So ask your hoster what you need to change or install it at an other webhost. |

Did you run the Environment Check when you ran the Ravenstaller(tm)? If not, start the install again. It will not overlay the tables unless you start the actual table installer.
Start the installer but only run the Server Environment Check. Are all the results green (OK)? |
