I have decided to do a your account module it has many new features i have tryed not to do anything you can see in RN's YA apart from the edit i made for the next release.

Edit in place
Twitter name
twitter feed
facebook and myspace name
friends system
ajax comments on users profiles with option to limit to only friends posting
fields hidden to non friends (optional)
private profile only viewable by friends
user moods
status message like facebook

i might be missing things out but owell lol

gazj, compliments! adding the latest social network sites to Your Account is a must I believe Cool

also nice bells and whistles added. Is the "mood" function in here also?

it will be but as of yet i havent added that yet im working on improving the friend system i made to limit access to profiles and comments and various profile fields

Looks very interesting ! To avoid spam you need to limit the access where its possible.

it has a switch to limit profiles by each field to friends or everyone also the comments are the same but only users can post

i have the module as my your account on my site its still unfinished i have the user reg to work on and various other things but the userinfo and everything relating to the userinfo is done head over and check it out www.nunuke.co.uk

just an update moods now load instantly on change no page loads and instantly changes for anybody viewing your profile as you change your mood.
This is thanks to 2 ajax funtions (1) self refreshing div (2) ajax update
and the comments have paganation

could anybody please give me opinions on my latest idea it is as follows
we all know of the ugly li's displaying last comments and news submissions on the bottom of the your account well im gonna use some tabs to switch between them should i also include downloads submission and last friendships made?

any other suggestions welcomed and will be given thought

I would say no on the download submission, many do not use this section in nuke for their sites and communities like me Laughing

Last friends made would be primo! What I like in other social network sites such as FB is that they have a avatar, and also several other pics in their profile Very Happy

profile pictures almost done has anybody seen the way you add profile pics to facebook where you add then crop? well.......... abit of jquery and some php and we have alakazam we have cropping of profile images and with a model window when the image is clicked you see the full size image now who here thinks thats cool to see in nuke? i know i do Very Happy

new profile picture is in place if anybody wants to check it out still monor tweaks needs but nothing major

The new profile picture up-loader and cropping capabilities are excellent gazj Cool

I hope that us RN users are able to have these feature soon!!!

hi everyone just an update i added hotlink protection to profile images
my header.php sets a session and use's the users ip for the value i then use the value and pass it to the image.php i use to watermark and display the images it will only show if this session is pressent look at the image below if this is what you see if this session isnt pressent

try to view the image then go to my profile to see the actual image in my profile

yeah its because i changed my image on my profile so the link is differnt ill update the post

update hotlink protection now uses md5 on the unique session key

moving onto the admin side then should be almost ready

admin controls being added are:
turn comments on/off
turn profile image on/off
set profile image width/height, max upload size, max big width for pop up
auto activate on/off

any other ideas please feel free to let me know
