Images will upload to /uploads/image/photo.jpg for example and will be displayed on the site, linked and so on. However, the files do not show up when doing "Browse Server". The files are there as evidenced by ftp and displaying ok on the site. All I get is a blank page. I show the folder and all the window text just fine, but no image files.

Permissions are set to 777 just for testing sake and still a blank page. Owner/Group permissions are set ok.

I have another site on the same server and no problem displaying the files in "Browse Server" and everything is exactly the same ower/permissions, etc. I even tryed removing and re-uploading /uploads/image/ and so on.

Cheers

In the one that works, no. In the one that doesn't work, yes. Now there are none in both and now both work ... And now I remember that solution from a good while ago .. Cool

Thanks

Try creating a folder. Do the images then magically appear?

I am reviewing file managers to work with CKeditor and have noticed this behavior, too. Wondering if there is something in a PHP.ini, htaccess or httpd.conf that is affecting this.

It was the fact that index.html was in the /image/ directory. Once removed, the images appeared.
