Delay in topic appearing?

There seems to be a fair while before topics show up after posting???? is anyone else experiencing this? is this meant to happen now?
I thought a topics didnt get posted so I decided to post again to have 2 topics of the same Embarassed

I have not experienced this. Make sure and compare the .htaccess directives from your site to that from the package download for RN 2.4, especially with the caching directives.

Its just now every time I make a topic it doesn't show up for some time.
Earlier I had to make another post as I thought the first post didnt get posted then the next thing I know both topics were active.
Oh well maybe just a browser cache thing my end.

The cause is most likely mod_expires in .htaccess

I had a problem with xampp running on windows but not linux.
