If you work with MySQL, especially as a developer, you might enjoy Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!'s list of 5 (free) indispensable MySQL development tools.
It's not just phpMyAdmin, in fact I'd include an additional tool: Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!, recommended to me by Raven. This single file replacement for phpMyAdmin is really well done. |

Wow - another nice tool. I like HeidiSQL's user manager. Do you use it with remote DBs, or only locally? |

I've only had time to play with it but I have tried it on both. I hope to get the time to really experiment with a number of applications - very soon |

I just compared the user manager in HeidiSQL to the one in MySQL Workbench. MySQL Workbench was painfully slow switching between users, while HeidiSQL was quick. |

Nice topic and thanks for the links.
SQLyog got my attention after it mentioned something about "easily create prepared statements" so thats definitely on my list to check out further. I've installed a full copy of SQLyog 7.02 Enterprise under WINE to get a feel for it before getting the latest trial version which I think is v8.x |

Don't forget... Aqua Data Studio is pretty advanced and not for the faint hearted.
Try it a few days and then stay dazzled of all the options
@Raven: you can opt-in free licenses for each opensource RavenNuke developer (4 PC's per license) when you provide them all information.
Do keep in mind to "remove" the license key before uninstall/system wipe or the license count degrades. |

Yes, I noticed that. It appears to run on most (or all) platforms, too. |
