I know it is asked a thousand times a year, but I have one user who is getting the invalid IP message on my site. I can't figure out what to do to help him. I have turned off IP validation in rnconfig.php. I have added his range to the protected list. I have verified that he is not in the database table on either a banned IP or banned range. I am not using .htaccess. I am running sentinel 2.6.01 on ravennuke 2.3.
He recently moved and changed his ISP. This is when the problem started. I figure it is an IP2Country table that needs to be updated, but no updates since September on the tables. Not sure if I need to do something to add his range?
In any case, can anyone provide any other tips on what I can do? I was thinking that once I did this that it was his cache. Had him install Firefox and am getting the same results. I am at a loss.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Message he is getting is below:

What version of RN are you using? There was a version when the invalidipcheck switch was not working correctly. |

Is there any way to tell for sure which version I am running? I thought it was 2.3.01, but I am not positive. I have 3 sites running raven nuke. When I look at my old files I see 2.1.01, but I am 99% sure I have updated since that version.
I can tell you that the last time I updated was around 12/08 with the current version at that time. |

Earlier when I had this problem in an old version of Sentinel, I searched for the IP-Address in Sentinel and corrected the IP-range, so it no longer was invalid. Very easy to fix. |

Thank you very much for the permanent fix. I will make those changes to comment out IP check.
I was able to go into the IP2Country table last night and edit the particular range from IANA Reserved to U.S. and the user stopped having a problem. |
