I got a question to all of you.

I wonder if someone has one nuke on the root but he doesnt want to get rid of that one and it creates another folder and then upload all the core to that folder but you will get errors like this

This means you wont be able to activate your account because you create a folder in the root.

Code:
http://www.yourdomain/new/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=activate&username=username&check_num=2145ec75d26b773b39450d1d6190e8

The correct way is

Code:
http://www.mydomain/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=activate&username=username&check_num=226145ec75d26b773b39450d1d6190e8

I understand all of these I mention above but my question is if there is a way to solve this little issue if you are going to create another folder.

Does it require to make lots of modifications?

Errors like what?

I haven't had chance to do this myself, but it should work and has always done in the past.

Please could you clarify.

The error I get is you cant not activate your account if there is a folder in between

new is the folder but actually that is not the root.

Yes! Nuken, but the problem persist but I wonder if it is the hosting who has to make those changes. I mean, to make that folder as root default.
