very weird thing we have now.

some of the members have some issues with the options of the last topics view.

when a member comes to the forum after a while and clicks on "View posts since last visit" he gets a list of all new topics. nothing wrong so far.

at the right of each topic there is a scare just like on this forum, to see the last answer of that topic. when thy click on that one the get the following.

http:///modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=856
(missing the domain url there)

they also get the message that the address is not correct.
maybe its a old address please try again.

when they hit back they get logged out and have to log in again.

now the weird part is that only some have that problem, most of the members don't.

how can i fix this, or what could be the problem ?

I'll be honest I have never seen this before and have absolutely no idea what might be the problem.

All I can say is check your Site Preferences and Forum Preferences and make sure your domain is set correctly.

well i always have strange things Laughing

and like i said only some have that problem.
at first i thought it was the account of that member.

but when i checked for myself with his account on different computers and locations, i did not have that problem at all. all just working fine.

i have looked at the site preference :

and in the control panel of the forum :

Domain Name : www.gs4r.com

www.gs4r.com is the main domain.

www.dediensthond.com
and
www.dediensthond.nl.tt

are linking to www.gs4r.com

By any chance are the users that are seeing this problem using the same browser? Have you checked their cache settings? I'm just trying to find some commonality with the ones having the problem.
