Ok so im working on a 100% XHTML compliant theme, Table less of course.

I've got the idea from the www.960.gs site which makes template making very simple.

I liked the look of http://www.designinfluences.com/fluid960gs/12/fixed/ and seen as it was released under GPL i decided to try and get it running on PHPNuke...

I designed it on a fixed 12 column, split into a 3-6-3 grid layout, ive also managed to get it to work with a full width preview and with no left / right blocks too so its fully working, just needs a lot of cleaning up and attention to detail.

So far after 2 days of coding and tinkering here is where im at >> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/xgodsavethequeen/tester.jpg

Unfortunately I am away for a week now so wont be able to pick up where I left until then.

I will release it to the Ravens Nuke community once complete, just thought i would share the concept and see what people thought. Very Happy

I will include instructions how to alter the layout to say a grid layout of 3-5-4 i tried it and it looked very modern, however the News Articles were rather narrow... not everyone's taste.

I'm having a few teething issues getting the top NukeNav to style as there's is designed but its early days, I think when I return and knock out a few more days on it, it will be great...

Understanding the theme.php wont be for the faint hearted as there is code everywhere !!! lmao

Ill clean it all up as best as I can.

I think the concept is cool and has great potential.

ah Montego this is Ped, I thought a man of your calibre would have found those sites already ! lol

I can email you the theme files that I have already so you can have a play with them, its still early days yet

I want to make the fixed width one and the flexible width one, just not enough time in the day right now with holidays too its hectic.

I'm impressed with what ive got already... I want this to be one of the better themes ive made for free and to be a benchmark for other designers, coders.... with a little bit of CSS knowledge it wouldn't be very hard making alot of new themes from the same simple theme files, seen as the style sheet makes all of the design side !

oh well

Keep up the good work

Ped
