I was wondering if there was a way to add strikeout text to my forums? |

Your drive should not be really filling up. Maybe if you have error logging on it could be filling up, but that is all I can think of. Or are you talking about the DB size? That should not really be that big either. How much space do you have? |

You should not be using anywhere near that. |

Any ideas? I thought it was forum usage but i delete so many posts wich i dont want to and it free's no space. What could be using all this space?
I was in my cpanel and seen error logging displays last 300 errors.is there a way to turn this off?
Im clueless on whats taking up so much space.Ive even deleted several modules just to get some room. |

Generally most space is taken up by images, so if you use the attachment mod you might want to check the folder where those are uploaded. If for instance, users are uploading game screenshots those can be very large in size, often over 1mb as they are usually not compressed/optimized for use on the web.
If that doesn't reveal any surprises, you could try downloading a backup of your site via ftp, and then search the download for files over a certain size. Some ftp programs may have options to search via filesize, but mine does not..
I wouldn't bother deleting forum posts in an attempt to save space, unless you are deleting 1000's of posts I'm not sure you would even see a difference. As far as the error log, it's best to fix what is causing the errors ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
