Posting here because it appears to be a NukeSentinel Error. I get the following when clicking on "Forums" in the Admin section:

Quote:
Warning: file(.ftaccess) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1189

Warning: fopen(.ftaccess) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1191

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1192

Warning: fopen(.ftaccess) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1211

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1212

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /xxxxx/includes/nukesentinel.php on line 1214

This just occurred overnight, no changes whatsoever made.

Have you verified the your .ftaccess file is in your root and writable? Also is the path to .ftaccess correct in the NukeSentinal General Settings?

Yes to all. Same 666 permissions as htaccess and staccess, group and ID. If I turn off "Flood" blocker in NS, it all works.

There may be a related problem as my IP is included in a block that has been included in the Spamhaus SBL. This just happened overnight.

Try accessing your site from a proxy, like http://proxify.com . That should determine if it's IP related.

Yes, it is IP related. Been determined that it's a recent problem that has resurfaced with the "Snowshoe Spammer" issues that are Spamhaus related. All four of my IP's are included in one of the blocks being rejected, so any ISP with the Spamhaus DNSBL configured is rejecting my email. I use my other server that is not included in the BL's. Your post notify email comes through just fine which is a blessing at the moment.

Cheers

Still not working and NO, not IP related, at least not now. Same error under same conditions. Cannot turn the flood blocker ON, must remain OFF. Tried changing some flood interval settings in the forum config to no avail. the .ftaccess file is empty and permissions are set correctly. Stumped so far. Maybe re-uploading some files? but which ones? don't want ot overdo anything.

I guess you did some modifications on nukesentinel.php
Save the old one and try the original one.

Is nukesentinel.php in the right place?

Didn't knowingly change anything but will upload the file from the original distro and see what happens. And yes, it's in the right place, same as all my other domains. This just started right after several dozen Verio blocks and thousands of IP addresses were blocked by Spamhaus SBL. Since fixed but this problem remains. Coincidence more than likely, who knows.
