Anyone using Coppermine Gallery integrated into RavenNuke?

If so, does anyone know of a way to embed youtube videos in Coppermine?

I am running Coppermine 1.3.2 from pcnuke.com

I've tried to use the instructions from the original coppermine, however, the files structures are not the same.

Here's a link to the method that is posted for original coppermine:

Problem is, that does not work with the Coppermine for Nuke package.

Have you inquired with pcnuke? It would be much easier for someone intimately familiar with the package to backport the hack. As far as I know the port is a dead project aside from the Dragonfly CMS community which has gone down their own path. Though Dragonfly CMS is very much alive still.

Thanks six,

Yes I tried to contact over at pcnuke, however, they require donations in order to even view their forums.

In the meantime I've just decided to install Video_Stream module and use it to stream youtube videos. It may work out better for my site this way to keep photos separate from videos.

Makes sense! I'm not running a site that uses video or even a gallery right now. Been holding off to see how Jestrella does with his project. I liked MeG and it seems to have a simular layout. Also it would have been easy to create a template for something like youtube videos.

Some time ago I had a video ad-on but it was never really used. If you use forums, simply create a video forum and allow html with iframe and you will get most participation that way, at least thats the way it was for me.
coppermine is a very good gallery but the project is dead in nuke for the most. i'm hoping someone builds a bridge to the new releases. there are a lot of cms that already have a bridge like drupal, joomla and several others.
jestrella project looks very promising also Smile

Thanks. I already have the Youtube bbcode added to my forums and some users have been using that as well. The Video_Stream module seems to be working great so far and it fits my site well.

I'll just stick with coppermine and Video_Stream modules for now.
