I have a question for everyone...

I have been playing around with some phpbb stuff and I would like to know how I can get these mods to work on RN....

You aren't providing near enough information for anyone to help you. What mod? Where did you get it? Are there any instructions with it? Do you know if it is working on any generic *nuke related site?

For kicks, I picked up a copy of Evo Extreme and tried to swap the forums mod and any missing MySQL files into my RN test site and it crashed the forums area so something is different between the 2...

Most mods will work with RavenNuke forums. The biggest difference is that a few small changes have been made that will have to be reflected in the mods.

One change is that any mod that is looking for a file in the includes/ folder will have to be changed to modules/Forums/includes as all the forums files have been moved from the root includes folder to the Forums module.

Another change is some of the code will not match 100% for the add after or add before instructions for the mods. You can do a partial search of the code the mod tells you to look for and find it though.
